Ayurveda – the “science of life”
|
|
|
For more than 3000 years experiences and knowledge
concerning our daily life have been collected and passed on. These
passed on writings concern all aspects of our daily life, especially
how to stay healthy and how to recuperate our health.
Poor health and disease originate from a disturbed
harmony within the body, between body and mind or between the individual
and his environment.
The modern way of life with its high speed of living,
stress, environmental pollution as well as polluted food often leads
to a disturbed inner harmony without making us ill right away
|
 |
 |
But we feel the disorder as nervousness, insomnia,
reduced efficiency, chronic fatigue, muscle tensions or simply a
reduced joy in living.
If these disorders exist for a long time real
organic diseases may develop.
From the perspective of Ayurveda the three vital
energies that steer our life: Vita, Pitta and Kapha are out of balance.
Ayurveda seeks to re-harmonize them.

Suitable measures, depending on the severness of
the disorder could be:
to give
up the disease-promoting behavior
to change
some of your habits
to change
your nutrition
to use
relaxing and Yoga techniques
physical
measures like massage, gushes, packings, thermal treatments
